This page explains what data GameAvant collects when you visit the site, why, and what choices you have. GameAvant doesn't require an account to browse, read or search, so there's very little personal data involved to begin with.
We collect standard, aggregated analytics (pages visited, approximate location by country, device type) to understand what content is useful and fix what isn't. We don't require registration, and we don't collect names, addresses or payment details on this site.
GameAvant uses a small number of cookies for essential site functionality (such as remembering your language preference) and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site will keep working, though some preferences may not be remembered.
Game artwork, screenshots and factual data are served from IGDB and Steam. Some trailers are embedded from YouTube, and pricing links point to storefronts such as Steam, some of which may be affiliate links that earn GameAvant a small commission at no extra cost to you — see our Editorial policy for how that never affects a review or a score. Each of these third parties has its own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Since we don't hold accounts or personal profiles, there's generally nothing tied to you to request or delete. If you believe we hold data about you and have a question or concern, contact us at privacy@gameavant.com.
