What we know about Agni: Village of Calamity

AGNI: Village of Calamity is a third-person survival horror game from the Indonesian studio Separuh Interactive, published by Wired Productions. Players take the role of Agni, an investigator who breaks the rules to search for her missing partner inside the forbidden village of Desa Purba. The story deals with trauma, guilt and grief, and the line between reality, memory and nightmare keeps breaking apart.

The developer describes exploration-focused survival horror: examining evidence and items for clues, solving environmental puzzles and managing scarce resources, with dangerous combat inspired by classic Indonesian horror slasher films. Gematsu reports a fixed hybrid camera and relentless stalkers in the spirit of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and a short, intense playtime. The game is aimed at mature audiences.

A release date has not been announced. Wired Productions says it is not ready to circle a day on the calendar yet. The game is listed for PC on Steam, and an Xbox Series version was announced in October 2025 with a 2026 window reported at the time. No demo is currently planned.
