What we know about Attack on Titan 3
Attack on Titan 3, also styled A.O.T. 3, is an action game from developer Omega Force and publisher Koei Tecmo, based on the Attack on Titan manga and anime. It is presented as the culmination of the studio's series of games on the franchise, retelling the story from the early days of the Survey Corps through to the conclusion. Because it covers the full plot, the game contains major spoilers for anyone who has not finished the series. Players join the Scout Regiment and take part in key events alongside the main cast.
Combat is built around omni-directional mobility gear, the swinging-and-slashing system the series is known for. According to the publisher, the movement has been reworked to allow even greater freedom in the air, and Titans move in more varied and less predictable ways. The Nine Titans can be fought in the game for the first time. A new feature called Special Exterior Missions sends a squad outside the walls, where the player, as squad leader, decides whether to push on or retreat while managing gear fuel, blade durability and squad morale. A new Casual Mode is aimed at newcomers.
The game is planned for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC through Steam, with a release date of 10 December 2026. Koei Tecmo has announced a standard edition, a SteelBook launch edition for physical formats and a Digital Deluxe Edition with 72 hours of early access on platforms other than Switch 2. Players with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or its Final Battle expansion will receive bonus items. Voice acting is Japanese, with text in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Mobility combat
