Bellum is a first-person, platoon-scale tactical shooter from the independent studio Astarte Industries, built in Unreal Engine 5. It is set in a fractured Africa in the 2030s and puts three asymmetric factions against each other on large maps, with the emphasis on planning, squad coordination and consequences for every life.
The studio lists a limited-life system, an advanced medical aid system, crew-served weapons such as machine guns, mortars and rocket launchers, and a 4x4 km map. The factions are the Ranger Regiment, the SATYR PMC and Al-Zalaam. A pre-order is open on the official site, where the game is sold directly rather than through Steam.
