The story so far
What we know about Enginefall
Enginefall is a multiplayer crafting and survival shooter from Red Rover Interactive, set aboard colossal megatrains in a post-apocalyptic world. It was announced for PC in February 2025. Players board at the tail of a train, scavenge and craft, and fight their way car by car toward First Class and the engine, in PvP and co-op play.
Between raids, players build up a personal shuttle that can grow into a train of their own, with base building, crafting and character customisation. The studio has leaned on community testing and has run several public playtests, most recently an open playtest from 8 to 22 June 2026 that overlapped with Steam Next Fest.
The Steam page lists the release as 2027 and PC (Windows) as the only platform. It carries a violence and blood content notice and includes voice chat.
