Gundam Rogue Orbit is a high-mobility action game from Bandai Namco Studios, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 and is set in a brand-new timeline of the Gundam saga, where humanity faces an unknown threat. Players take the role of ace pilot RE-X in the Gundam Helix, accompanied by Vii, a Haro assist unit. The publisher presents the story as an entry point for newcomers as well as for long-time Gundam fans.
The focus is fast, skill-based melee combat across large zones on the ground and in the air. Bandai Namco has shown three weapon types so far, an Assault Sword, a Sword Lance and a Whip Sword, each with its own actions and skills, and tactical skills that can be paired with them. The mobile suit can be customised with parts, Apocalypse Units and visual options such as colour schemes and MOD skins. The Steam page lists single-player and online co-op.
The release date of 5 March 2027 was announced during PlayStation's State of Play in September 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are open in Standard and Deluxe editions, with a Launch Edition and a Collector's Edition also listed on the official site.
