What we know about Persona 4 Revival
Persona 4 Revival is a full remake of the 2008 JRPG Persona 4, developed by P-Studio at ATLUS and published by ATLUS and SEGA. It was announced on 9 June 2025 with a teaser trailer and an official site. SEGA describes it as a retelling that reimagines graphics, UI, combat and cutscenes through a modern lens, with quality-of-life improvements and additional content aimed at newcomers and returning fans alike.
The story stays in the rural Japanese town of Inaba, where a transfer student is pulled into an investigation of a string of murders and the occult, while building bonds with townspeople and fighting shadow enemies in turn-based combat. Director Kazuhisa Wada has said the project is being made to feel fresh and surprising for both newcomers and long-time fans.
SEGA announced on 8 June 2026 that Persona 4 Revival launches on 18 February 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it is listed for Xbox Game Pass. Pre-orders are open in Standard, Deluxe and Premium digital editions plus physical Standard and Collector's editions. Voiceovers are in Japanese and English, with subtitles in 14 languages.
