Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a full remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, built on Unreal Engine 5 and co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, with Amazon Games publishing. It was revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025 and follows Lara Croft on her first adventure, searching for the scattered pieces of the Scion, an artifact of immense power.
The journey takes her from the jungles of Peru to the ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a mysterious Mediterranean island. Crystal Dynamics describes exploration, traversal, puzzle-solving with deadly traps and combat against lethal predators, wrapped in modern game design while keeping the atmosphere of the original. Alix Wilton Regan voices Lara Croft.
The game was first announced for 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but was delayed to 12 February 2027 and Nintendo Switch 2 was added. Pre-orders are open in Standard and Deluxe editions on Steam, with Deluxe adding two days of early access, and reports also mention a physical Collector's Edition. The Steam page lists 12 languages and a PC minimum of an Intel i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1070 or RTX 2060 Super.
