Trine 6: Together in Time is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer developed by Frozenbyte and published by Cooldown Games. It is the sixth entry in the Trine series and was announced on 5 June 2026 during the Day of the Devs broadcast. Players guide a party of heroes through a handcrafted fantasy world, solving physics-style puzzles and fighting enemies, solo or in co-op for one to four players, locally or online.
The story follows two young newcomers, Moira the Acrobat and Adrius the Squire, whose heist goes wrong and who team up with the series regulars Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief and Pontius the Knight to restore magic gone awry. The roster of five heroes is built around a co-op-first puzzle design where any character can solve any puzzle, and every hero gets a new Time-Slow ability for lining up jumps and dodging attacks. The Steam page describes two puzzle approaches: a Classic Puzzle Mode and a more open Freestyle Puzzle Mode.
The game was first dated for 17 September 2026 but was delayed to 4 March 2027 on 24 August 2026. Frozenbyte said, following a private playtest, that it would use the extra time to add a new way to experience puzzles, give the heroes more ways to shine and improve combat, camera behaviour, onboarding and online multiplayer. It is coming to PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Switch 2, with cross-play and a demo that was released for Steam Next Fest in June.
