The story so far

What we know about Project Evilbane

Project EVILBANE is a four-player co-op action RPG developed by Netmarble Monster and published by Netmarble. It is set in a dark fantasy kingdom torn apart by humans, demons and traitors, and can be played solo or online with up to four players. Combat is class-free: players switch freely between ranged and melee weapons and customise their skills through a skill tree.

Missions are tactical and built around teamwork, with multi-stage boss fights that call for coordination. The PC version is planned for the second half of 2026 on Steam and the Microsoft Store, with Xbox Series following in 2027, according to the announcement in September 2025. The Steam page still lists the release date as to be announced, and a Steam playtest is scheduled to start on 15 October 2026.
