Nintendo games: Switch 2, Switch and the retro classics#
Nintendo games stretch across more than forty years, and this page is the way in. For the current console, start with the best Switch 2 games, then new Switch 2 games and upcoming Switch 2 games. The best Switch games cover the console before it, and most of that library is playable on the Switch 2 as well. Looking for Nintendo's own series across every generation? See the best Nintendo games of all time.
Retro Nintendo consoles#
The classics have their own pages, each with a best-of list: SNES, NES, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
How the lists work#
Every best-of list is hand-picked and ranked, with a short note on what each game does well and where it falls short. The new and upcoming lists update by themselves from the game data we track.
